Henry Bennett

Henry Bennett is a sixth-generation farmer at Bennett Orchards in Frankford, Delaware, carrying forward a family farming tradition that dates back to the mid-1800s. As the second generation of his family to grow fruit on the farm, Henry helps produce the peaches and blueberries that have become synonymous with Bennett Orchards.

For Henry, farming is also about the connection between the land and the table. Fruit picked at the orchard in the morning can be in the hands of a local chef that afternoon, transformed into something entirely new by dinner. It’s a relationship he values deeply and one that reflects what makes the Culinary Coast special: farmers, chefs and producers working together to give both locals and visitors a true taste of the region.
