Hari Cameron
Chef & Co-Founder | Grandpa Mac
Chef Hari Cameron has spent more than two decades helping shape the culinary identity of Coastal Delaware. A Delaware native and graduate of The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Cameron built his career around a style of cooking deeply connected to the Mid-Atlantic, its seasons and the people who grow, catch and produce its food.
He opened a(MUSE.) in Rehoboth Beach in 2012, where his progressive Mid-Atlantic cuisine earned national recognition, including James Beard Award semifinalist honors for Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2013 and Best Chef in 2015 and 2016. He later earned a StarChefs Rising Stars Award and co-founded Grandpa Mac with his brother Orion.
For Cameron, cooking on the Culinary Coast is about more than what's on the plate. It's about capturing a sense of place, from local oysters and blue crabs to farm-grown produce and ingredients gathered from the landscape. His cooking celebrates the changing seasons and the farmers, fishermen and purveyors who make Coastal Delaware such a distinctive place to cook, eat and gather.
