Estuarine Ecology Tour

Join the staff of Delaware Sea Grant for this one time tour as we explore the waters and shoreline of Delaware’s inland waterways. Participants on this tour will get an up-close look at some of the local animals and plants and will investigate the water to find out what makes this area such an important and dynamic environment. The tour will also highlight some of the scientific research being conducted in the area and share how scientists and others use this information.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars to look for birds like Great Blue Herons and Ospreys, and search for animals along the shoreline.
