Maudy Mendez

Maudy Mendez is the owner of Maudy’s Hispanic Cuisine in Georgetown, where the food she serves is deeply rooted in family and tradition. Many of the recipes she cooks today have been passed down through generations, inspired by the cooking of her mother and grandmother and prepared with fresh ingredients, herbs and the flavors she grew up with.

Just as important to Maudy is the community that has supported her restaurant through both good times and challenging ones. Through Maudy’s Hispanic Cuisine, she has created a place where she can share a piece of her family’s heritage with the people who live in and visit Southern Delaware, one homemade meal at a time.
