Josh Grapski is a founding member of La Vida Hospitality, the group behind Crooked Hammock Brewery, Taco Reho and Big Chill. For Josh, hospitality on the Delaware coast goes well beyond what happens inside a restaurant. It’s rooted in a community where restaurateurs support one another, share ideas and work together to create better experiences for everyone who visits.
He sees the Culinary Coast as an experience that begins before you even arrive. As the cities give way to farmland and the road leads toward the beach, the pace begins to change. Once here, local farms, the Atlantic Ocean and the waters of the Chesapeake region provide an incredible abundance of ingredients for chefs and restaurateurs. Combined with the feeling of escape that draws people to the coast, it creates the perfect setting to slow down, gather around a table and simply enjoy the experience.
