 rtworks that all cost $500 or less.     This show has\nbeen a staple in
  Peninsula Gallery’s exhibition schedule for 18\nyears. The collection f
 eatures 130 original works from 30 artists. The\nlineup of local\, regiona
 l\, and international participants includes 22\nrepeat exhibitors and seve
 n artists who are new to the show. The new\nartists include Aster da Fonse
 ca\, Siobhan Duggan\, Carol Fastuca\, Chloe\nMcEldowney\, Amy Shawley Paqu
 ette\, Susan Shalowitz\, and Sharon\nWaltersdorff.   This year’s exhibi
 tion is highly diverse\, with\nworks done in oil\, acrylic\, pastel\, wate
 rcolor\, and silkscreen\, as\nwell as uncommon techniques like Sumi-e ink 
 wash and tape collage. The\nworks encompass a wide variety of subject matt
 ers from animals and\nlandscapes to still lives and contemporary abstracts
 .   Tony\nBoyd-Heron\, gallery co-owner\, says\, “Each year\, it’s ve
 ry exciting\nto get the show up on the walls. It’s always sort of a shoc
 k walking\ninto a room lined with so many paintings.”  “Small Jewels
 ” is\non display from November 27th to December 31st. Works from the sho
