SUMMARY:Mid-Atlantic Symphony Presents \"Eight Seasons\"
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:Presenting Antonio Vivaldi’s _Four Seasons _and Astor Piazzol
la’s\n_The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires _(a combined Eight Seasons) on t
he\nsame program seems to be a very logical pairing – and that is\npreci
sely why the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra’s November program\nwill fe
ature violinist Igor Yuzefovich’s version of these two works.\nAlthough
composed centuries apart – Vivaldi’s work from 1716 to\n1725 and Piazz
 olla’s from 1965 to 1970 – the two works perfectly\nrepresent nature
’s seasons in the composers’ respective times and\nhemispheres.\n\n“
We are so pleased to be able to bring these vibrant\, joyous\, and\nbeauti
ful pieces to our audience\,” said MSO Board President Jeffrey\nParker.
“Igor’s musicianship and understanding of these works will\ngive our a
udience a perfect rendition of the two composers’\nvisions.”\n\nThere
are\, of course\, differences_ and_ similarities in each of these\ntwo wor
ks\, but each is a masterpiece in its own right that has been\ncaptivating
and exciting audiences for centuries (in Vivaldi’s case)\nand for more
than half a century (in Piazzolla’s case). It is a\nfortunate audience
that enjoys them both on the same program.\n\n_A NOTE ON THE GUEST ARTIST_
: Russian-born Igor Yuzefovich currently\nis the Concertmaster of the Sing
apore Symphony Orchestra\; he\npreviously served as Assistant Concertmaste
r with the Baltimore\nSymphony Orchestra.  As an active chamber musician\

aim in\nBaltimore and has since captivated audiences across the United Sta
tes.\n\nFor more event information and to buy tickets\, click here\n[https
